Welcome to Real Little Kids: Newborn–Preschool
|
Meet the Staff
Our Volunteers At Cedar Valley, we care about who is watching your precious little ones. Each time you bring your child to his/her class, know that he/she will receive quality care. You can be confident that your child will be cared for, prayed for, loved, and instructed in the ways of God. All volunteers must complete an application and undergo a background check. We also maintain the Rule of Three, meaning that there are always two adults in each classroom so that no child is left alone with only one adult. Interested in volunteering? Contact Pastor Brooke at 952.854.1100 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Hygiene Standards Diaper Changing For each diaper change, staff are required to use a new pair of gloves, disinfect the mat after use, and wash their hands. Diapers are checked hourly. Bed Linens Bed linens are washed after each use. The Baby Nursery is equipped with a separate sleeping room for children who fall asleep during the service. Equipment Toys, swings, walkers, tables, mats, and other equipment are sanitized after each session with a child-safe disinfectant spray. All toys that have been sucked on by a child (particularly in the baby and toddler nurseries) are placed in a dirty toy bin immediately after that child has finished playing with them. They are then sanitized in an industrial diswasher before another child may handle them. Rooms All nurseries and bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned after each session. Sick Children
Because the children play together in the rooms, we want to make sure we maintain a healthy environment for them. Children who are sick or who have received medication within the last 24 hours cannot be allowed in any of the nursery/preschool rooms. If the staff feels that your child is not well, you will be notified to pick up your child. If your child has a continually clear, runny nose or rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know. Click here to read the Sick Child Guidelines. Nursing Mothers
Room 295C is designated for nursing mothers and is equipped with comfortable seating and a changing table. On Sunday mornings, a live video feed of the service is provided. |
