The Prayer Ministry department of Cedar Valley Church offers training that will give you the tools to listen and to effectively apply biblical principles to pray for individuals who seek help.
Prayer Minister Training:
• instructs and equips prayer ministers to pray for and minister to others effectively
• teaches biblical principles to develop skills for listening to the individual as well as the Holy Spirit
• provides discipleship through instruction by and observation of seasoned prayer ministers
Please note: the goal of this training is not for personal healing.
The Cedar Valley Church Prayer Minister Training uses Elijah House materals.
This video training course:
- Teaches foundational principles and tools to deal with common life issues.
- Students learn to trace bad fruit to bitter roots formed in the heart (Heb 12:15), most often in childhood. They learn how to cut off roots at the cross, and bring repentance and healing to the heart.
Classes are facilitated by a seasoned prayer minister.
Students receive their own course materials.
Students will receive a certificate of completion when all requirements are met at the end of the training.
Participants in the training will:
• study with a group of people who have various experiences and backgrounds
• have personal interaction with a trained prayer minister
• have a small group “hands-on” experience
• be trained to minister in the Prayer Ministry department of Cedar Valley Church
• have access to information about other Elijah House events and ongoing training and support
