At Cedar Valley, our prayer is that missions isn’t just something on our “to do” lists, but rather, a way of thinking: a heartfelt longing to use every means possible to spread the Gospel everywhere—in our homes, neighborhoods, workplace, and across the oceans. We also pray everyone at Cedar Valley will get involved in missions by giving, going, and praying. We believe there’s no age restriction on spreading the Good News.
The Assemblies of God has a rich missions heritage whose goal has been to establish self-supporting and self-propagating national church bodies in every country. A few years ago, the number of missionaries from Assemblies of God churches in other countries surpassed those sent by US AG churches. In the past decade, we've entered 33 new countries and territories for missionary work.

Statement of Purpose Assemblies of God World Missions is dedicated primarily to the fulfillment of the Great Commission: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 Missions Strategy
Reaching—The widest possible evangelization of the spiritually lost through every available means. Planting—The establishment of indigenous churches after the New Testament pattern.
Training—The training of national believers to proclaim the Gospel to their people and to other nations.
Touching—The showing of compassion for suffering people in a manner representing the love of Jesus Christ.
