At Cedar Valley, we believe in "doing life" together. In fact, we believe Life Groups are, in many ways, the "life" of the church. In a Life Group, people get to know each other and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's also where they pray, care for one another, and are missed if they don't show up.
At Cedar Valley, there are two types of groups, distinguished by the size, frequency, and the purpose for the meeting:
Fellowship Groups: Fellowship Groups vary in sizes and meet monthly or seasonally at a variety of locations for fellowship and friendship. |
Life Groups: A Life Group consists of 4 to 18 individuals that meet weekly or bi-weekly, mostly in homes, for relationship-building, prayer, personal growth and mutual support. |
Interested in joining a Group? New groups start several times a year. Our next group fair, an event we call GroupLink, will take place September 7, 2008. But you don't have to wait untill then to join a group! Many groups are still open - pick up a Life Group Directory on our Info Wall or click here for a PDF copy of the Life Group Directory. Got questions or need information? Feel free to contact me!

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." – Acts 2:43,46,47 (NIV) |
