Together For Good / Info Meeting & Host Training

Together For Good creates pathways for the church to offer crisis care and ongoing support for vulnerable children and families in the community. We are continuing to develop our partnership with TFG by hosting this training which is available to Cedar Valley and other churches in the area.

Life Center Mpls

About Life Center Minneapolis

The Life Center is an inner city ministry center that helps people with their basic needs and walks with them on their journey to becoming fully developed members of the body of Christ. We will be serving the Sunday Shelter Meal that the Life Center provides for homeless individuals and families in Minneapolis.

Somali Market Visit

Thursday, May 3 | 5:45-9 pm

Did you know that Minnesota is home to over 75,000 Somali immigrants and the largest Somali Market in the world?! Join us for an amazing cross-cultural experience right in our backyard as we share a meal at the Somali Mall and Mosque in downtown Minneapolis and discuss how we can build bridges to our Muslim friends and neighbors.

Meet at Cedar Valley Church Door #10 at 5:45 p.m. to carpool downtown.

Hospitality Center for Chinese 

About Hospitality Center for Chinese

The Hospitality Center for Chinese (HCC) desires to share Christ's love through hospitality to Chinese students, scholars, and their families. Activities at HCC cultivate a community of friendship, understanding, and cultural exchange. We will be serving a meal at HCC's Chinese New Year celebration.

Food in the Hood

First and Third Tuesdays Monthly | 4:30–8:30 p.m.
About Food in the Hood

Join us at the Cedar Crest Church location to serve a hot meal and provide a week's worth of groceries to those facing hunger in our community. Volunteers needed to distribute food, serve meals, help as a personal shopper, carry groceries to cars, and clean up.

Community Dinner

Help us as we invite our neighbors and friends from the community for a free dinner in the Atrium! We need greeters to welcome guests at the door and hosts to help them find seats and join them for a conversation over dinner.
