Worship Ministries
Choir 
Open to all individuals, high school age and older, who are interested in being part of an exciting, caring and dynamic family of worshippers. This group is the foundation of our worship leadership each Sunday morning and presents musical events for Easter, Christmas and the July 4th Freedom Celebration. To enroll, schedule a brief interview with the Worship Pastor by calling the Worship office. Rehearsal: Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. in Room 198.
Orchestra 
In addition to ministering on Sunday morning, these talented instrumentalists also minister during each seasonal production and other events. Enrollment is open throughout the year to those of high school age and older. An audition is required. Rehearsal is in Room 192 on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Worship Band
The worship band is the foundation of the Sunday morning services. It is open, by audition, to talented individuals, high school and older, who have a heart to worship and desire to lead the congregation into the presence of God. The worship band consists of drums, percussion, bass, acoustic guitar, lead guitar, and keyboard musicians. We rotate two teams per campus. Fronting the Worship Band each week are our worship vocalists. This demonstrative group of singers is the main worship leaders for the congregation.
Ensembles
Opportunities exist for various instrumental and vocal ensembles - String quartet, Brass & Woodwind Quintet, Jazz ensembles, Handbell Choir, and Flute Choir to name a few. Additionally, adult, college and high school vocal ensembles are needed to augment the weekly worship ministry at Cedar Valley . Rehearsal schedules will vary from group to group.
Media
Perhaps you can play a technical instrument with skill, or have interest in learning how to facilitate worship through innovative equipment. Media positions include:
- Audio engineering: house mix and recording
- Lighting: design, programming, and operation
- Video: production, switching, camera operators
- Media Resources: duplication operators,
- Worship lyric projection operators

Drama
Our Sunday services and seasonal events are powerfully enhanced by the ministry of drama. From simple monologues and sketches to dramatic presentations, Cedar Valley believes that drama enables us to communicate the message of Jesus Christ effectively to a wide range of people. Rehearsals are set according to need and scheduling.

Productions
Seasonal events require much preparation and work. Set design, set construction, set decoration, stage props, wardrobe, theatrical make-up, and Holiday decorating all require a large group of volunteers in addition to the musical and dramatic teams. If you're gifted with administration and organization, additional opportunities exist to serve as Production Coordinator, Technical Director, Stage Manager, or Back Stage Manager. |
Music Lessons
Many of Cedar Valley 's musicians are available to share knowledge and encouragement through applied music lessons. Piano, drums, violin as well as voice are among the lessons offered. Contact the Worship Ministries office for additional information.
