We strive to create the building blocks of a strong, Bible-focused foundation for our kids. Every year we walk chronologically through the Bible, learning the major stories that show who God is, what He did through Jesus, and how we can be part of God's story too.

In service, we sing, dance, and experience the incredible stories in the Bible. Preschoolers and toddlers also memorize two verses from the Bible each month.

In the large group, preschoolers hear a Bible story that includes music, characters, drama, and an interactive curriculum that helps build an understanding of God's character, the Bible, and how the Holy Spirit works in their lives. We also carve out time each week for kids to worship so they can tell God how much they love Him.

Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have. If they have food allergies, please let us know and we’ll put a special sticker on their nametag so teachers will see it at snack time. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of a contagious disease or must have already been on medication for a full 24 hours prior to being in a classroom. For your child's comfort and safety and the health of the other kids and volunteers, don't bring your child to Tiny Valley if he or she has any of these symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Vomiting
  • Lethargy
  • Earache or a toothache
  • Runny nose w/ ample flow
  • Diarrhea
  • Sore throat
  • Yellowish skin or eyes
  • Hacking or wet cough

*Please use good judgment if your child is experiencing symptoms not listed above.

During class, children are encouraged to be as sanitary as possible. Everyone uses hand sanitizer or washes their hands before snack time and after restroom breaks. Volunteers wear gloves when dispensing snacks. The classrooms and restrooms are cleaned regularly.

Toy Cleaning in the Baby Nursery: Toys are set aside after each service/single use and run through an industrial dishwasher before they’re used again. This keeps our environment safe for babies and families.

The early childhood rooms are also deep-cleaned and completely sanitized every quarter. During the deep-cleaning process, all small toys are run through our industrial dishwasher. Tables, counters, walls, riding toys, kitchen sets—everything is wiped down with Shaklee concentrated Germicide Basic-G cleaner and extra hot soapy water

Volunteers & Staff

All Kids volunteers and staff are background-checked and trained before they start volunteering—so you know that your kids are in safe hands. Volunteers wear T-Shirts as identifiers that are designated to CV Kids. We show your kids that church is a safe place where they will be cared for by adults they can trust.

Check-in

Our electronic check-in system allows us to keep your child safe, contact you if necessary, and keep accurate attendance records.

Self-check-in on ipads. To check your child in, enter your phone number.

If you’re visiting Cedar Valley, you can add your family to our electronic system by talking to a check-in volunteer when you arrive.

If this is a one-time visit and your family doesn’t need to be added to the electronic system, talk with a check-in volunteer when you arrive.

Snacks are a fun part of the service that allows children to talk and interact with each other. In the Baby Nursery, Puffs are provided for children who are hungry. We are happy to feed your baby their bottle upon request. The Toddler and Preschool classes provide individually packaged goldfish and animal crackers each week. Cedar Valley adheres to being a nut-free area. If your child has allergies or food intolerances, you may request raisins. Please notify the staff if your child has allergies or should NOT have a snack.
