The Power of Intentionality

After the Spirit is poured out at Pentecost, the Church is unstoppable! In Acts 2:42-47, Luke gives a rich summary of what the Church was like in the beginning. This passage gives us a snapshot of what their life together looked like and their shared practices. They were not casual believers who were loosely connected one day a week. They lived intentionally and with purpose. They didn’t fit their faith in when it worked for them—they built their lives around it. And the result of this intentional community was “the Lord added to their number daily.” When we’re intentional, God does the exponential.
