NEXT STEP

Sunday services are just the beginning! Whether you just started coming to Cedar Valley or you've been around awhile, NEXT STEP is where you'll start to find your place in our church family, meet other new people, and learn about ways to engage in our church community. NEXT STEP is made up of four classes that offer an introduction to Cedar Valley and are offered in person every other month.

Those who've attended any NEXT STEP will automatically be invited to the coinciding class. Questions? Contact Pastor Vicki at vickig@cvchurch.org.

Got kids?

Childcare is available for birth–5th grade!
Two Important Instructions:
  1. TELL a Kids Leader you'll be attending the class when you drop off your child.
  2. 8:30 am service attender: PICK UP your child immediately following class.
We assume, if you're attending the class, your child will attend Kids Service at 8:30 or 10:30 am.
  • If your child is attending the 8:30 am Kids Service, they'll stay after the service until 10:30 am.
  • If your child is attending the 10:30 am Kids Service, childcare opens at 9:50 am, and they'll stay for the 10:30 am Kids Service.

  • Step 1 | Discover Cedar Valley

    Unpack what Cedar Valley is all about. Hear our lead pastor’s story, and learn about the rest of Cedar Valley’s pastoral staff.

  • Step 2 | Develop Your Faith

    Discover what it means to have a relationship with Jesus, grow in your faith, and be led by the Holy Spirit.

  • Step 3 | Deploy Your Gifts

    God can use you to make a real difference in someone’s life! Recognize how He’s wired you and find out which areas of ministry are a natural fit for you.

  • Step 4 | Declare Your Devotion

    Explore membership at Cedar Valley and find out how to use your faith story to help others.

NEXT STEP Fast Track

There's nothing like sitting down with someone in person and getting to know them. Our NEXT STEP in-person classes offer you a chance to connect with our pastors and others. We highly recommend you take all four classes in person. We also realize meeting in person might not be an option for you with busy schedules, etc. So, we've created the first three NEXT STEP classes in a video format as a way to fast-track the process of getting connected.
